Unleashing my inner bridezilla

During August and September 2017, I really got in touch with my feminine side.

Before writing the birth doula website for Liana van Zyl which featured in my last blog, I was asked by Spot on Creative to write copy for a new bridal website.

Now, I have a little knowledge of marriage being on my second go at it. So I know my fascinators from my favours. But like the birth doula site which discussed childbirth, this is another life-changing event with a significance that most blokes will probably never understand.

Nevertheless, I’d been asked to handle the copywriting for a bridal wear website so I had better unleash my inner bridezilla – fast.

Divine Bride based in Northamptonshire is all about stunning bridal wear at affordable prices.

They stock unique, individual bridal gowns which are often one-off designs or end of range items. But the big benefit for brides and brides’ fathers’ wallets is that they are all very sensibly priced at under £500, and sold off-the-peg.

Naturally, Divine Bride also take care of the bridesmaids with a range of dresses to make all the leading ladies feel wonderful too.

And of course, they stock all the accessories a bride could ever need – and a few more besides – handbags, hats, veils, shrugs, bridal jewellery, including earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings in modern, classic or vintage styles.
