AIR AMBULANCE | DIRECT MAIL COPYWRITING

This was one of those copywriting jobs that was so easy to work on - really clear benefits and an emotional story to tell.

It was a fundraising mailing pack for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.

You’ve seen the air ambulances on numerous TV programmes airlifting desperately ill adults and children to the nearest hospital. These days, many can provide the same high level of expert emergency treatment as an A&E department which obviously increases the chances of the patient making a successful recovery.

This air ambulance alone flies over 1,200 missions every single year and each mission costs over £1,400. Yet air ambulances RECEIVE NO GOVERNMENT OR NATIONAL LOTTERY FUNDING and rely entirely on charitable donations from people like you and me to operate the service.
